So, what have I been doing lately?
I had been quite busy, because I now have another job. Hurrah! After just weeks of praying for it. Hehe Anyways, I'm working as a trainee (soon to be teacher) in an academy that teaches English to Koreans. At first I got the jitters because everything was so new. But then, you know me. I quickly adapt to my environment. Naks. Hehe
First impression: Everyone was so friendly. It looked like they've all been together for quite some time, and it was such a warm atmosphere, that I am actually running the risk of falling in love with the place. But then, I still don't have a student. Maybe that could change my mind. :)
I love my training sessions, and my trainers. My speech trainer is so adorable. She's got this perfect American accent (that I used to loathe, but now I don't. Well, not too much anyway.) that you just can't help but admire her. The bad side of it is my British accent is suffering a lot because of overexposure to that emericen eccent. Ehe ^_^ Moving on, my other trainer (cause I don't know what he's training us for. Weird guy) is HOT. He's got this super strict attitude, a very nice body structure, and a smile that can melt a heart of stone. To top it all, he's a Christian. Sigh. Too bad he's married. Which means, hands-off. x_X
Another highlight: after days of complaining to myself that I scare good men easily and tend to attract the wrong ones, I found myself sitting across a guy during lunch time. Yes, folks: I was on a lunch date with a co-worker. It was a friendly date, but he was way enthusiastic. x_X Although, I liked his frankness, and there was an easiness to his aura that was comfortable. And take note, he's Christian too. Hmm. At least I know I'm surrounded by quite a few people whom I can relate with. ^_^ How was it? It was okay, I guess. Don't worry. I'm guarding my heart. I mean, after all those things I've gone through? Haha ^_^
